Should I Take Pregnancy Test For Boob Ache, Slightly Lactating And Gained 8 Lbs?

I am on my second depo shot. I was recently also on chantix. I have been craving junk food late at night. I can smell everything. My boobs ache once in a while and I keep feeling like I am slightly lactating I have gained about 8 lbs in the past 3 weeks. Should I take a pregnancy test??

Depo can present with side effects like breast tenderness.
Chantix can cause feeling of increased pressure in the chest as a side effect.
If you used depo as per the schedule, the possibility of pregnancy is less.
If there is any contraceptive free period, there is possibility of pregnancy.
In that case once go for pregnancy test.
If the test comes negative, consult gynecologist once and get evaluated.
If she recommends once go for estimation of prolactin levels.
With this workup the possible cause for your problem can be identified and treated.
