Should I Consult My Doctor For Dizziness And Nausea Experienced For A Short Span?

I woke up this morning, with dizzyness and nausea. It felt like what an alcohol hangover feels like but I did not drink alcohol the previous night. The room was not spinning but I couldn't walk in a straight line. I sat down and felt like I was still moving. This sensation lessened in intensity over time but continued for just over 4 hours. Nothing in my routine changed, I ate and drank the same kinds of foods and at the same times as I usually do. I was wondering if I should schedule an appointment with my doctor to follow up.

Dear friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Yes / You ought to see a doctor! / You need examination / and probably investigation...
Anaemia, postural hypotension, arrhythmia and so on are also among the possibilities

The body's balancing mechanism is in the inner ear. An ENT (Ear Nose Throat) specialist is the one to see - they have special tests to confirm or exclude the contribution of the ear.
If the ear is excluded, you have to be followed up by a neurologist. / MRI may be needed.

Good luck
Take care
Wishing all well
God bless
