Should I Be Worried For Spotting During Pregnancy?

I am 12 weeks pregnant and went to my doctor 2 weeks ago because I started spotting. They checked me and the baby and had no reason as to why I was bleeding, baby was fine and developing just right. I am still bleeding/spotting and it happens when I go to the bathroom.

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion the causes of bleeding like thyroid abnormalities, any progesterone insufficiency, low lying placenta, cervical bleeding due to erosion, varicosities etc.So as everything is normal you need not worry. It might be cervical bleeding.Take rest.Avoid physical strain and intercourse.Progesterone supplements might be needed.
