Hi,

Your symptoms are typical of acute costochondritis i.e. inflammation of the ribs and the joint between them and the sternum.

You need to give adequate rest to the affected part until the pain subsides completely. NSAIDs group of drugs will definitely help you. So will Chest physiotherapy.

My wishes for a faster recovery.

Regards,
