Sharp Pain Under Breasts, Stabbing Pain Occurring Randomly. Medical Attention Required?
Hi, I have been having sharp pains under both my rib cages like right under my breasts. The pain isn t at the same time it goes from different ones randomly. It s a sharp pain for a couple second and it feels like someone is stabbing me. I don t know what it could be or if it is serious enough to need to be seen by a doctor
Do you have any history of fever or cough?
Any history of bloating sensation of the abdomen?
How are your bowel habits? Any diarrhoea/ constipation?
How old are you? Any history of smoking? Any history of palpitations, shortness of breath? Anything to suggest a cardiac nature for the pain?
The possibilities I can think of are muscle sprain, acidity/ gastritis, anxiety, cardiac problems/ respiratory problems. Kindly get back to me with the above details. I will be in a better position to comment further with the answers to the above.
Hope this helps
Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
