Sharp Pain Like Waves And Soreness In Left Side Of Chest, Weak Muscles. Borderline Diabetes. No Relief From Painkillers. Help

All last night from 9'o clock to this morning i keep having this strange annoying sharp pain in a wave like way, and soreness near the top left hand side of my chest , it is like a toothache
kind of pain and sometimes makes my left arm feel sore-like and a little weak in the muscle. I have borderline diebeties and my mother suffered from angina, latest heart check 6 months ago and deemed OK. NOT HEARTBURN. also pain killer 2 Panamax did not help.

Hi,
Thanks for your query,
Your symptom very much seems to be angina and must be ruled out. Go for an electrocardiography (ECG), if normal go for for stress ECG and echocardiography.
Chest x-ray will be helpful to rule out any underlying lung pathology.
Angina typically comes like chest tightness with pain radiating to left shoulder, neck jaws and tooth.

Best wishes
