Hi,

Yes, Atenolol can cause heartburn as a side effect. However, the symptoms you are describing could also be related to other conditions, such as acid reflux or angina. It's important to discuss your symptoms with your doctor, who can evaluate you and determine the best course of action. Depending on the cause of your symptoms, treatment options may include lifestyle modifications, medication changes, or further testing.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
