Sharp Pain In The Breast. Feeling Lump. Expecting Period. What Could This Be?
I have a sharp pain on the top right of my left breast . the pain started on saturday and was really bad until sunday night. On Monday the pain was not as bad and today it s alright. it only hurts when i press down on the area and i feel some sort of lump. Before i would not be able to pass my finger through the area. what does this mean? I am due for my period next week.
First of all try to relax.. Most women experience fullness of the breasts and tenderness before the arrival of their periods.
Actually if you have been examining your breast with the fingers, the findings might not be consistent with that of a lump. Breast examination has to be done with the hands flat and not by pressing your breast with the fingers. Please refer to any reliable website for breast self examination.
I would suggest that you visit your doctor for a complete and thorough examination.
Hope I have answered your question.
Have a great day.
