Severe Sharp, Hot, Stiff Pain In Body. On Indomethacin For Osteoarthritis. Diagnosed Rheumatoid. Recommend Good Specialist In Odessa TX

I need a rheumatologist in Odessa TX. There are only 5 for Midland and Odessa together. The doc giving me Indomethacin for OsteoArthritis decided I have rheumatoid as well and he doesn t mess with all that. The doc he is going to send me to has nightmarish stories for reviews. There seem to be no real choices. I am in a lot of pain all over. I have a high pain threshold but apparently not for constant weird sharp hot stiff aggravating frustrating pain. No one really wants to hear how many places and how many different ways and how often you hurt. I get it - your pain is like your child. No one will eve care about it as much as you do. I don t want to waste another off work for a doctor who doesn t really want to address all the areas and issues. Do any of you refer or recommend? Renea

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
I under stand your problem, and the problem of facing the pain. As you describe it appears to be the fibromyalgia, but it is not good to diagnose with out the evidence.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe neurotrophic injections for 10 consecutive days, and then follow up frequently. Calcium, vitamin D, and pain killers, according to the pain severity, it may bring the pain killer dosage to minimum.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods, for about a fort night.
As an alternative you can consult our ask a specialist, where you can have have a direct interaction with a your selected specialist directly, with number of follow up queries, along with the reports, you already have.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
