Semen Analysis Done, Can Any Online Doctor Help Me Read This?

Hi,

I took my Semen Analysis Report today. I want to check the values are normal. Please help on this.

Colour (SEMEN): Greyis White
Volume: 2.0 ml
PH (SEMEN) : 8.4
Reaction: Alkaline
Viscosity: Normal
Liquefaction Time: 45 mts
Total SPERM count: 59.0 million / ml

Motility:
Active Motile: 40%
Sluggish Motile: 25%
Non motile: 35%
Others: Puscells: 4-6/hpf
SEMEN Fructose Level: Positive

I am little worried on Active Motile percentage.

Hi,
the report does not mention time of examination .
if it is after liquefaction time the active motile sperms above 80%would have been better .
the pus cells should have been nil.
presence of pus cells indicate some infection . the infection itself can cause poor motility .
it is advisable to get a semen culture/ sensitivity test and take a course of appropriate drugs . it is better to get check up with doctor and follow advice . discussing the problem with doctor will help you not being worried .
