Repeated Dizzy Spells, Loss Of Balance, Weakness, Normal Blood Tests, Slurred Speech. Cause?
Hello, I have very bad dizzy spells. I lose my balance sometimes, I feel weak and shaky. I ve had these symptoms for years now and Ive had numerous blood tests and nothing bad came up. I also blacked out a few years back and I also lost control on my speech to the point where I was slurring my words. I don t think its vertigo ..
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
You may have Cerebro-vascular accidents involving your cerebral cortex and cerebellum involvement.
Involvement of cerebral cortex may cause black out, weakness, and slurred speech.
Involvement of cerebellum may cause loss of balance.
You should consult with physician/ Neurologist and go for CT scan of brain while better study can be done by MRI brain.
You should also go for 2 D echo study of heart and color Doppler study of carotid artery as you have history of black out.
Get well soon,
Dr. Mayank Bhargava
