Recurring Pelvic Inflammations, Itching In Vagina, Foul Smell, Redness, Swelling Worsened With Intercourse. All Tests, Vaginal Swap Tests Negative. Help
hi i am 33 yrs old suffering ihave been suffering from recurrnt pelvic inflammtions since 6 yrs i got all my tests done and all seemed to be negtaive.i also got my paps smear done which states numerous inflmattiory smears and also got vaginal swap tests done for both fungal and bacterial and results being negative.i have been taking homeomedication for the same for the last 3yrs nw. my symptoms being itiching inside and outside vagina, foul smell and redness and swelling . my symptoms are severe at the time of ovulation if i have intercourse, i have a baby boy 3+yrs old.no other health issues apart from this. pls suggest me some advice. i also underwent cryocater in 2008.not much of relief though.plsss advice me to get rid of this health issue.

YOu have recurrent Inflammation of perinium along with itching,.You got all the investigations done,including vaginal swab, pap smear.inspite of that you did not get releif with allopathic or homeopathic medicines.
in this conditions I have following suggestions-
* The candidal infection of vagina produces lot of itching& curd like white discharge. But if malr sex partner is infected primarily,it may not have discharge-&vaginal swab test can come -ve. The itching&swelling is more after intercourse.
To exclude this the male partner is to be examined&both partners to br treated same time.
*If you are using Condom for BC- may be you are allergic to the material of device.
*In some cases KOH test is done to find if it is due to Dermatophytes,(dermatophyte is a type of fungus causingskin diseases like ring worm,candidosis . The line of t/t changes with the diagnosis.
* sometimes Diabetese also presents with such symtoms
With these varity of possibilities you need a specialist(Gynac) consultation,investigation & relevant T/t.
