Reason For Child S Low Glucose Levels And Variable Liver Size?

hi doctor, my son who is 1 year old was diagnosed with infantile spasms when he was 4 months old which took 1 month to get rid of spasms after which he was spasms ( he was on divalproex sodium since 4 mnts till date he is on the med) after the spasms stoped when he was 5 months old doctors started to investigate the cause behind spasms...the did blood tests which showed increase in serum lactate, uric acid, triglycerides and decrease in blood glucose level(fasting) and they noticed enlarged liver. by which they suspected gsd. and directed for gene testing, but gene testing came negative.. now doc s are confused that why is he getting low glucose levels(fasting)..his liver size varies some times it reduces to normal size and sometimes get enlarged..so i wanted to ask whether his abnormal readings are due to the adverse drug reaction of divalproex??? because before starting the drug his blood glucose levels were normal..and lastly can i give him liver tonic(liv-52)???

Pediatrician 's  Response
many thanks for question. well the blood panel is not an adverse reaction of vaparix. also infantile spasms can have some underlying disorder.
serum lactate and uric acid will not vome high just like that. we need to investigate fully othr metabllic causes requiring tests like aminoacidogram.
