Pus And Pain On Scalp, Fever, Red Swollen, BETADINE, NIZORAL, Vibramycin 100mg. Healing Time?
Hello Doctor,
I have pus boils with red swollen areas on my scalp which is very very painful for the last 10 years , I went to many doctors . Nowadays I am applying BETADINE+NIZORAL SHAMPOO ------- mixed aqually and rub a lot on my scalp,
I took15 days before vibramycin 100 mg - 2 tab. everyday for 10 days than 1 tab. everyday for a week. I found 90%
cured but at one place 2-3 pus filled bois with red swollen area does not cure. It pains a lot . I have little fever also.
Pl. suggest me what to do?

Hi boils in the scalp can be mainly due sweat content over the scalp.azithromycin 500 mg thrice a week for three weeks .use of fucidin ointment cures the condition for 3-4 weeks but it works temporarly.use of isotretinion 10 mg alternate day decreases sweating on the scalp which inturn helps to prevent folliculitis of scalp.it should be used atleast for two months
