Prescribed Udilive And Lotion For Rashes And Itching During Pregnancy. Should We Go For Cesarean?
my sister is pregnant jut 31 weeks completed she has rashes and itching. now she admitted in hospital. doctor gave udilive 150 mg tab and some lotion to apply. she got conceived after 7 years of marriage. it is precious baby for us. shall we go for secerian at 34 week or earlier please advice

This a case of cholestasis of pregnancy. The patient will have itching, rashes and jaundice. Pregnancy after 7 years of marriage definitely makes it precious. But delivery by 31 weeks, the baby will be preterm. Based on the investigation reports like bilirubin and the clinical condition of the mother, it will be appropriate to wait till 37 weeks.
