Prescribed Gestofit When Heart Beat Of Child Not Heard After Nine Weeks Of Pregnancy

My period is nt regular,tried for baby n doctor told me tat iam 5 weeks now n moreover the heartbeat of the baby is not visible,doctor gave me gestofit 300mg for 10 days,according to my calculation iam9weeks .is this a normal thing?i am worried please help

Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
As you mentioned there is irregular period even though you are 9 weeks the fetus may not be the same.
The ultrasound at 5 weeks may not always reveal a heart beat.
So the best course of action is to take gestofit and wait for a week and repeat usg.please write back with the ultra report if you have any query.
