Prescribed Budesal And Asthalin For Child's Wheezing And Cough. Difference Between Drugs?

My daughter has wheezing and cough (phlegm less) and has been prescribed inhalation of Budesal (6 hourly) and Asthalin in between the busesal doses for 6 days. About 4 months ago the same doctor has prescribed Asthalin only and then when it aggravated asked to use Budesal and Duolin instead (Again Budesal at every 6 hours and Duolin inbetween) .. I would like to know what is the difference in these drugs and how does it matter combining them at different intervals. My daughter is 3.5 years old.

Welcome to HCM.
Budesal contains budesonide(steroid) with salbutamol which act as a Antiasthmatic, anti-inflammatory and bronchodilator.
This corticosteroids act inside the body`s cells to decrease the release of certain chemicals (mast cells, eosinophils, neutrophils, macrophages) which will be helpful to reduce allergic attack.
Inhaler therapy is better and your doctor is on right way, continue it and keep regular follow up.
Avoid certain triggering factors like cold drinks, flavoured drinks, ice creams, chocolates, oily foods.
