Pregnant With Cracks On Butt, Red And Itchy, Tried High Dose Of Steroid Ointment Without Relief. Is It A Yeast Infection?

Hi, I am 15 weeks pregnant and my butt crack has become raw red and itchy. It involves the top 1.5 inches of the crack. It doesn t involve the anus , and it isn t hemorrhoids . Can this be related to pregnancy? Would I be more susceptible To yeast infections due to pregnancy? Have tried high dose steroid ointment without relief. It s just red, no flakes or blisters

Its unlikely to be yeast. More than like these are fissures. You need good lubrication ,seitz bath and you need to keep the area soft. Its important that its not infected so have a doctor take a look at it.
