Pregnant, Mild Cramping, Pink Red Bleeding. Had Miscarriage Earlier. Cause Of Bleeding?
Hello, I took a pregnancy test yesterday which was positive 1-2 weeks since conception. I have had mild cramping but today when I use the bathroom when I wipe myself there is some pinky red bleeding . I have had two healthy pregnancies before but I did suffer a miscarriage this year in January. I am feeling very anxious due tp past experience.
Hi, Implantation bleeding is observed around 10-14 days after conception sometimes. Yet, in view of your past history, it would be ideal if you get medical attention by a specialist as soon as possible. You may get serial serum beta-hCG titres coupled with trans-vaginal/pelvic sonograms to assess the status of your pregnancy. You should take absolute bed rest, avoid all forms of stress including intercourse. Hope this helps. Good luck.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vidya KR's Response
Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
Minimal spotting could be due to implantation bleeding, which is normal, need not have to worry. You can get ultrasound abdomen done, to check for intrauterine sac. If you get abdominal cramp, continued bleeding, need to consult your doctor. Take rest.
Consult your doctor for examination and management. Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries. Wish you good health. Take care.
Regards Dr. Vidya
