Pregnant, Having Vaginal Spotting. Prescribed Hucog Injections. What Are The Benefits Of These Injections?
i am 9weeks pregnant, during 6th week of pregnancy i had some blood spotting, but my ultrasound report showed everything normal but after that my Dr. has prescribed me ovipure/hucog 5000mg once a week. this is the first time i got pregnant after my marriage.i want to ask you why i am being prescribed this injection. and why i had blood spotting

i knnow its ur first child but vaginal spotting in first trimester in 90% of cases is normal
in rest of the 10% is coz if vaginal or cervical reasons
if your liver functions are normal n vaginal spotting is not heavy or regular than dont worry
hucog is not good at all in first trimester and its for women who want to get pregnant not for those who r already pregnant,, STOP hucog or consult another doctor

In some females due to inadequate hormonal levels there is spotting noticed in early pregnancy,so the injections prescribed-ovipure or hucog 5000mg are to support the pregnancy in the initial period, as the hormones in early pregnancy are produced from the ovary later on after 3 months that is after 12 weeks placenta is formed which takes up the function of hormone production and hence supports the pregnancy.
So continue with the injections till your doctor has advised and don't worry, take care.
