Pregnant, Have Scanning Report. Can Any Online Doctor Help Me To Read It?
hi doc i am 34week pregnent my sacaning report is uterus is enlarged. single live foetus wit head in the lower pole is seen. foetal cardiac anterolateral on the left side. liquor quaantity is marginally excess than normal.AFI.18 placenta is in the upper pole, anterolateral on the left side. maturity grade II umbilical cord is seen round the neck of the foetus.(single loose loop)
Hi, Thanks for the query. According to your scan report: Single life fetus is in cephalic presentation, with normal heart beat. Liquor is little bit excess, but not up to the level of polyhydromions. Placenta is normal in position and grade. Alarming feature is having cord around the neck. But as the loop is single and loose, there may not be much problem. You have to monitor the fetal heart beat regularly, if any abnormality is diagnosed better to consult gynecologist. Regular antenatal checkups and ultrasound examinations are needed.
