Pregnant. Lab work done. High neutrophils, not feeling sick. Is everything fine?

Hi - I am 25 weeks pregnant and recently had my lab work done. In the results I see absolute neutrophils to be very high. It was 12.0 K/UL and the normal range is between 2.00 - 7.30. I am not sick and feel pretty normal. This is my first pregnancy and I am 27 yr old. I am worried - what could be the reason for this?

blood parameters will change in pregnancy compared with non-pregnant women,
there will be increased leukocyte count in pregnancy,
especially neutrophilia is seen in pregnancy,
so as you are not having any other features of infection etc, the elevated count possibly could be just because of pregnancy.
take care.
