Hello
Welcome to HCM

Febrile seizures are seen commonly in children with high grade fever. He has been suffering from Pneumonia and developed febrile seizures and was given Levetiracetam for seizures. He developed reaction to that drug and the drug was discontinued. See in a lot of cases there is no need for regular treatment for febrile seizures. In most of cases high grade fever should be prevented. If a child with febrile convulsions develop fever, he should be given paracetamil syrup or tablets to manage fever. If needed doses can be repeated. In some cases cold compresses are needed to lower down the temperature.
Only in few cases regular treatment is needed. If he has developed reaction with kreppa then you can discuss with his doctor for other medicines for seizures like Sodium Valproate, Phenatoin, Phenobarbital etc. These are safe medicines and can be used in seizures.

Thanks
