Pins And Needles On Upper Part Of Lip And Eyes. What Is The Cure?
I am having pins and needles on the right upper part of my lip from a day ago now it's I am feeling it around the eye are cheek area. I have been under the weather and have could and flu symptoms for over a week,however the numbness is getting me concerned as not have experienced that with flu before.
I can understand your concern for the pins and needles on upper part of lip and eyes. After reading your query there are two possibilities can be made:
1. Herpes zoster: It presents as unilateral multiple bumps and blisters on one side of body. It is painful and later on causes severe pain.
2. Herpes simplex: It is a again a viral infection and presents small vesicles.
As presently there is only pins and needle sensation so there is no need to be worried. You just observe the area for next 72 hours, if it increases then you can show it to a dermatologist.
For time being period you can apply antibiotic cream such as fucidin or mupirocin and take pain killer tablet such as paracetamol or diclofenac.
