Pinkish Rough Patch In Mouth, Three Cracks On It. Causes And Treatment?
Hello, It has been 3 weeks now that I have discovered a pinkish rough patch inside my mouth (on my left inner cheek). I can feel the roughness with my tongue . When looking with a torch light in my mouth, I can see about 3 crack lines going downwards on the rough patch. Is there any need for concern here? What can this be as it is just not going? Thanks

Commonest cause for such rough patch is due to ulcer.Rare but causes to be ruled are are mucosal dysplasia or even early cancer.So since this has been there for 3 weeks it would be wise to see doctor for this.Doctor might get few tests as well as might take sample to rule out cancer. If you are smoker or tobacco user then concerns would be more high.
