Pelvic, Lower Pain. Cat Scan Normal. Took Abntibiotics. Now Pinkish To Brown, Orange Discharge. Whats Wrong?
Hi I am a 26 yr old female. Just recently had been admitted to hospital due to pelvic and lower pain. Had a cat scan and it came up normal. Had elevated white blood cells and temperature of 103. Doctor has no idea what is wrong. Went onto two antibiotics for possible bacterial infection. It lowered the white cell count bit did not relieve the pain. Now three days after finishing my prescription I am having yellow discharge to begin with went pee and saw it turn to pinkish red color. Thought maybe my period? Even a week early. Then it combined and became brownish in color and now orange. What is wrong with me??? Please help!
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Menstrual cycle can change due to stress and strain, usage of antibiotics etc.
So the spotting you are having may indicate onset of periods.
As your examination findings and CT scan all are normal, no need to worry.
You continue symptomatic treatment.
If the symptoms persist or become severe you may need diagnostic and therapeutic laparoscopy.
