Painless Hard Mass On The Penis. Need Immediate Care? On Medication For Ulcerative Colitis
Hello, I have a small, painless mass about 1-2mm in size just proximal to the coronal sulcus on one side of the penis. The mass is mobile and very hard, and the best I can describe it is that it feels as though it is a ball in a mess of veins. Also, the skin looks swollen over the mass and is definitely larger than normal. I would say the onset is less than a day since I did not notice it last night; is this something urgent that needs to be seen immediately? The only medication I take is Asacol HD (mesalamine) and Canasa, both for controlled Ulcerative Colitis.

Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have a painless hard mass on shaft of the penis since 3-4 days.
It appears to be a staphylococcal infection of the hair follicle (Boil) in a stage of induration or a sebaceous cyst.
However final diagnosis can be confirmed only on clinical examination by a qualified Surgeon.
Please consult qualified surgeon for clinical evaluation he may advice you take antibiotics for a week.
Do not worry it get cured with medications.
