Painful Rib Cage, Numbness In Arm, Muscle Twitching. What Are The Symptoms Referring To?

I have been havin severe pain in my left rib cage and tingling sore numbing pain in my left arm I've just come back from hospital and they done full tests on me and say I have muscle twitches and that's all yet I have checked Internet and my symptoms don't add up just to muscle spasms it hurts when I breath in and hurts more when I stay still. I am 31 male 9stone 6'1 if that helps please tell me what you think is wrong with me thank you

I presume you had a chest x-ray. If it was normal...you may have pleurisy...which is an inflammation of the lining around the lungs. Then numbness in the arm makes me think about something called the brachioplexus..which is the bundle of nerves that enter the arm through the arm pit. If you haven't tried anti inflammatory medications like advil or aleve I would try that for a week. If no better...see an orthopedic surgeon to see what they think.
