Hi im 20 years old and female. I have been in and out of the doctors for ages. I only have periods every 3months or so. My doctor told me to take me temperature to see if im ovulating. I am but only a few times a year. I am trying for a baby and have been for about 15months now. I got pains last month in my right side and it hurt to have sex. Found out I had a cyst on my ovary. The size of a tennis ball. Got told to leave it for a few weeks to see if it went by itself. Iv had no pain since but bow having pain in my lower abdomen and left side. It hurts to go to the toilet and put pressure and pain on my abdomen when I wipe! And also hurts to have sex. I had a vaginal infection which I took anti biotics for last month. It was for bv which I think I had for a long time as I treated myself for thrush a few times! I used to get a lot of uti's and always have blood and protein in my urine. Please help

Hello, your symptoms appear to be complicated. You need to be investigated to determine whether you have endometriosis. If ovulation is a problem, then you may need medication for that. Added infections and UTIs are not related endometriosis. You should see a infertility specialist and get thoroughly investigated. Repeat the ultrasound with regard to the ovarian cyst. Any cyst more than 5 cm requires surgery.
