Pain In Tip Of Penis, Testicle And Side Of Shaft. History Of Having Sharp Pain Between Testicles And Anus. Any Ideas?

Hi, I am experiencing pain in the tip of my penis, and occasional pain in my left testical and along the left side of my shaft. I feel some discomfort in my groin at times. Sometimes, everything feels fine, and then I'll wake up and have the discomfort.

About 6 months ago, I noticed a sharp pain in the region between my testicals and anus. To the point where I had to move or stand-up... I feel some discomfort in that area now.

Can you help me diagnose?

Hello,

Thanks for posting on HCM,

From your description you are most probably suffering from urethritis and orchiepidydimitis (infection of your urethra, epidydimis, sperm cord etc and maybe infection of your prostate). Well you will need clinical evaluation by a doctor to confirm this. At the hospital/clinic you will be examined and some tests such as urethral swap, urine analysis and PSA can be conducted to determine the cause and provide you with appropriate course of antibiotics and pain killers. In my clinic, I often prescribe a flouroquinolone such as ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin, erythromycin etc and an antiinflammatory such as ibuprofen, diclofenac, prednisone etc which usually yield significant results.
Now depending on your age and sexual life, it will be necessary that some specific tests to rule out STDs and possible tumors be conducted. A urologist will be the specialist of choice to consult with.

Hope this helps
