Pain In The Lower Back And Abdomen, Nausea, Mood Swings. Pregnant?

Hello their might be a possibility that I may be pregnant. I've been having symptoms like lower back pain, cramps on my left lower abdomen, mood swings, and my urine a bit strong different also very nauseas. This is the thing I had unprotective sex on the 19th of last month. I started to feel very different with my body a few days after. I went to the er because of the cramps sharp pains. Got tested for everything possible no std and not pregnant well that was a monday the 29th. I really thought they would of done the test by blood but no. So ive been feeling very anxious moody and very worried. Im scare of doing another pregnancy test because its still to soon to know. But I think I am. What can I do? Do u think I may be pregnant?

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on health care magic.
Your symptoms are suggestive of pregnancy but not definitive.
You need to confirm pregnancy by serial titers for beta HCG in blood.
You can as well get a transvaginal ultrasound to be more sure.
Problem in urination suggests urinary tract infection.
I recommend you to get urine for microscopy and culture as well.
Drink lots of water.
Hope this helps.
regards,
Dr Nilofer

OB & GYN Specialist Dr. Dr. Soumen Patra's  Response
Hello,

You should wait for your next coming period up to 7 days from due date. If you do not get it, you can repeat home pregnancy test or undergo blood test for beta-HCG. Early pregnancy test is less significant and not reliable.

Following sexual activity, it is quite common to feel body ache or mood change. You should take healthy diet, drink plenty of water, maintain genital hygiene and take a sound sleep.

All the best.
