Pain In The Eyes While Blinking, Swollen Eyelids. Concerned

two days ago my right eye started to hurt. it now hurts more and is painful to blink or touch. my whole upper eyelid hurts when i blink and when i touch it, it hurts the most in the outer corner (closest to my ear). i dont feel any bumps, and my eyelid is only slightly swollen. but it is pretty painful where it distracts me.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
you description fits that of an early stye... which is an infection of an eyelash root. If it not possible for you to consult an ophthalmologist, you can start with :
1. Tab Combiflam twice daily after meals for three days.
2. Tab Ampi CLox (500 mg) thrice daily for five days (after meals)
3. Zymar eyedrop four times daily.
4. Warm compress with wet warm cloth 2 -3 times daily.
I assume that you are an adult and that you are not allergic to any medications. In case you are allergic to any medication, you must consult an ophthalmologist before starting any medication.
regards,
Ajit Hazari.
