Pain In The Calf. Not Responding To Oxycodone. Reason And Treatment?

I suffer from bad calf pains. They are right down the center. It started just behind the knees, and then with daily exercise it seemed to move lower in my legs. The knees are no longer hurting, but now I am at the point where Oxycodone doesn't even touch it. We ruled out Neuropathy, Diabetes, MRIs are all clean. We have done multiple spinal injections for nerves and no relief. Physical Therapy didn't help, and its hard to live a daily routine and or even walk anymore. Seems like no one knows whats causing it.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

If it is bilateral, a systemic cause needs investigation
Electromyography, Nerve Conduction and Muscle Biopsy... are some of the tests done in such situations,
A neurologist is the one to help in such cases...
There are exclusive Pain Clinics, that can investigate and help...
Beware! - addiction to drugs generally has its origins in this type of circumstances...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck

General & Family Physician Dr. Pavan Kumar Gupta's  Response
Hello,
Since you are having pain in both the calf muscles,so a local condition is ruled out and so you must be investigated for some general medical problem like
Autoimmune disorder like multiple sclerosis.
VIT B 12 deficiency
Hypothyroidism
VIT D and calcium deficiency.
Fibromyalgia
Any history of consumtion of drugs like DIURETICS or STATINS .
Thanks
