General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.
I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.

Chronic back ache could be due to degenerative disc or lumbar herniated disc disease, spinal deformities etc. I advice you to do,

- Base line investigation like Xray spine to find out the cause.
- take Analgesics & muscle relaxant twice or thrice daily with antacid
-complete bed rest with hot fomentation
- Avoid lifting heavy weights, bending or twisting your Back & sitting for long time
- Lumbar corset should be used all the day
- physiotherapy

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
