Pain In Posterior Rib Region. Anti-inflammatory Medication Not Helping. Suggestions?

Hello, Can you please tell me what I can do for the following symptons . Started last night has progressively got worse. I have a sharp grabbing pain in my posterior rib region . The pain grabs me when I move or turn or lift something with my right arm. I have taken anti inflammatory medication with no relief. It makes me cry, Do I need to go and see someone

I am so sorry about what you are experiencing right now.

You say these symptoms started last night and now they are getting progressive worse. Its abrupt onset overnight makes me to suspect it could be due to a poor sleeping position. What anti inflammatory drug have you tried and at what dosage? Have you taken it consistently or just a single dose? I suggest you review this information before we conclude that the drugs are ineffective.

I will like you to monitor this pain. If after adequate and consistent pain medications for the next 48hours it persists or new concerning symptoms arise, I will suggest you meet with your primary care physician.
