. I suggest a pregnancy test be run first to be very sure. The symptoms you describe are compatible with a premenstrual syndrome
or early pregnancy signs too. Ovarian cysts could also cause bleeding, but the clinical scenario is usually very different.
An abdominal ultrasound
in your case shall be very appropriate to diagnose presence or absence of cysts, and also to see if the is a pregnancy or not.
