Pain Around Clitoris, Dark Color, Used Vibrator. Will The Bruise Go On Its Own?

A couple weeks ago I was having some pain around my clitoris and hood. I examined myself and realized that, on the left side, it was very dark, almost black. My husband and I figured it may be a bruise and to stop any sexual activity. It started to go away and was only slightly red. I have used my vibrator a couple times in the last couple days. I jusy realized today that the area is black and painful again. Is this a bruise that will go away on it's own? Should I get it examined?

During intercourse sometimes abrasions etc,bruises etc can develop and that can lead to pain.
Possibly using the vibrator might have lead to recurrence of symptoms.
So, once get examined by the gynecologist.
By examination the exact cause of your problem can be identified.
Local analgesic and anti - inflammatory ointment can help in decreasing the symptoms.
If there is any possibility of infection, you can go for antibiotics.
Sitz bath can give some relief.
