I last had sex just under 6 weeks ago whilst on holiday. I am on the pill ( yasmin ) and we used a condom. After returning from holiday i had my normal period week. Then after starting the next pack of my pill i was put onto antibiotics for an eye infection. This didnt work so i was given a different kind to try. Two weeks ago i noticed that i had bled a fair amount but only onces ( it was dark brown in colour ). As it stopped i didnt think anything of it and continued to take my pill but then it happened again a week later ( for a few hours). When i took my last pill in the packet my period came straight away and was extremely heavy and dark. That was on Saturday and now i am still bleeding heavily but just normal blood. I rang the doctors yesterday and was told to take a pregnancy test. in the end i took two - both negative. Is there any chance i could still be pregnant? if not could i be having a side effect to the antibiotics?
