On Sdz-ciprofloxacin For Bladder Infection. Rash On Penis, Itchy And Pinch Sensation. Is It From Medication
Hello I am taking 500 mg of sdz-ciprofloxacin for a bladder infection. I am getting a small red dot rash on the tip of my penis that is slightly itchy and pinching sensation. I do not feel the itch or pinch during sleeping or most of the day. Is the itch from the medication. If so what can I do to reduce the rash and itch? I have no history to allergic reactions to any meds of foods. Thank you
As far as your description goes, ciprofloxacin may not be the reason for your skin rash. There is a remote possibility of an allergic reaction which includes skin rash, especially if skin is blistering, loosening, or peeling. Therefore it is always advisable to consult your GP for confirmation.
