Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to HCM

Levothyroxine is given in hypothyroid states. Hypothyroidism is one of important cause of anaemia. You are already taking ferrous sulphate and it will help to improve anaemic condition. Levothyroxine will correct low thyroid levels. The doses has just recently increased to 75 umg and after taking this you have developed symptoms like dizziness, palpitations, diarrhea, headache, giddiness etc. These symptoms occurred because of aggravation of anxiety by high dose of thyroxin. You are also taking iron tablets and these tablets increase the anxiety also. Consult a Psychiatrist for relief of anxiety. Consult your doctor to decrease the doses of thyroxine if possible and this will prevent any anxiety precipitation.

Thanks
