Hi, you are on amytryptiline since 10 years, you want to come off as you are having weight gain, constipation, G.I.problems, after stopping you got frequency of urine, sleeplessness.
When you want to stop such drugs , do it under the supervision of your doctor, it should be stopped gradually.
More over you are using since 10 years, and so far you didn't get any change, but now you are getting means it is due to age changes, or some disease. I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.

hi'
It'sgood if you have stopped amitryptilines &don't have the cumbersome nerve pains!
gastrointesinal problems can be looked after on following lines-
-constipation --can be maneged by having regular eating habbits with lot of fibers&water.avoiding fast food, taking green salads, fruits.
- increasing physical activities exersises, games, swimming as possible
- have less spicy food &avoid fast or drinks
-If this does not suffice you can add digestive enzymes /antacids after consulting your doctor.
