Numerous Urinary Tract Infections, Burning Sensation On Urination. Hysterectomy Done. Treatment?
HI IM A 36 YEAR OLD FEMALE AND HAVE NUMEROUS UTI S ? OVER THE YEARS. SINCE i HAD MY HYSTERRECTOMY LAST YEAR THEY HAVE BECOME WORSE. MY UA SHOWED LARGE AMOUNTS OF BLOOD BUT THE UC SHOWED NORMAL FLORA. I HAVE ALOT OF PAIN WHILE AND AFTER URINATING BUT NO FEVER OR ABDOMEN OR BACK PAIN . I HAD A CYSTOSCOPY AND CT AND THEY WERE OK. WHY DO I STILL BURN? THANKS!

Welcome to HCM
You are suffering from recurrent UTI,Your urine analysis shows blood that is hemturia but what about pus cell as your culture is negative.
You must know from where blood is coming and is there infection(Bacterial) if there is infection do a culture before taking Antibiotics.
As normal cystoscopy resonably rule out any obstruction, is there is any cut or ulcer in the passage,
If bood in urine persist along with puscell and negative culture possibility of renal tuberculosis/Mailgnancy?? should be explored.
Any urinary acidity problem may take alkalizer for making ph alkaline.
Some urinary antiseptic given atrial.
Keep perineal hygine drink lot of water and fluids.
Do not get pessimistic you will improve soon.
Kindly consult a uro surgeon.
