Numbness In Upper Thigh And Back, Pain Beween Thigh And Testicle While Sitting, Constantly Cold. Advice

Hello Doctor, My brother is experiencing some strange thing recently that none make sense and we do not know if they are related or not. In summary his upper thighs and back feel numb after sitting for a while, he get pain in the area between the right testicle and the thigh however feels ok if he stands up or walks, he feels constantly cold, and he always say he feels better if he exercises or drinks hot drinks. any advise, please help.

I understand your concerns for your brother. The symptoms that you describe would be seen as vague in medical terminology. I believe that you brother may have a variant of sciatica or a nerve root compression at one of the lumbar or lumbosacral regions. He may also have an abscess in the perineum that is resulting in the numbness and painful sensation and you might need to consult a doctor who can order tests after doing a physical examination. A neuropsychiatrist or a neurosurgeon would be the ideal person to take care of your situation. I hope this helps.
