Numbness In Toe. Severe Pain In Toe, Foot. Think Developed Arthritis In Ankle. Cause Of Pain And Numbness?
I tore a ligament in my right ankle over 10yrs ago. Never had it repaired now have permanent numbness in the 4th toe on my right foot and severe pain in my right big toe. My foot hurts most when I'm off my feet and I think I've developed arthritis in my ankle because it aches terribly in the morning. I'm not over weight do yoga twice weekly and walk 4 miles 3 days per week on treadmill. I use orthotics in my sneakers. What is the cause of my pain. And numbness?
HI Thank for asking to HCM As you are saying here that you had ligament injury ( Untreated) so this injury might caused your gait (Style of walking) changed since then, and your nerve fiber might have damaged because of changed gait , or the uneven pressure during walking might have damaged it, this is just because of history given here, otherwise total clinical examination and work-up will clear the diagnosis, have nice day.
