Numbness In Right Hand Due To Placing Of IV For A Procedure. Suggest

I had an IV placed in my right hand on Thursday for a procedure in which I was put under. Since then, I have had numbness in most of my right hand. It hasnt gotten any better or gotten any worse. What could it be and what should I do? This is ridiculous! I thought I was getting my answer. You are no doctor, just a cheap way to make a living sitting behind a computer with many search engines running at your beckon call! Jerks!!

It looks from your details that you had injury to nerves supplying to your hand during insertion of IV line.Due to this nerve injury there is abnormal sensation in hand .You should do following to have relief-

-Please take it seriously & consult to your doctor,a neurologist will be best for this.

-Keep the affected hand in a splint .

-Keep it elevated .
