Normal Periods, Suffering With Severe Hair Fall, Itchy Scalp, Have Blood Clots On Scratching. Treatment Advise?
Hello Doctor, I am 38yrs old..have normal periods. I am suffering from severe hair fall & also the scalp is very itchy. Due to which whenever i scratch a bit a wound forms after which that spot will be clotted with blood . Later when it dries up again the same problem persists. I have been taking medication since 1.5 yrs. But still the problem continues. Kindly guide me with proper medication.

From history it seems that you might be having some chronic infection on scalp giving rise this problem.
There is possibility of having fungal infection, dermatitis or dandruff.
Consult dermatologist and get diagnosed.
After proper diagnosis go for treatment accordingly.
Meanwhile take antihistamine tablet like Cetrizine or Benadryl for itching.
In absence of itching healing will be faster.
Ok and take care.
