Hi Ayesha Sultana, Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum.
First of all the cause for this has to be found out. Kindly visit a Dermatologist and get a blood work up done to rule out Hypothyroidism, anemia or any other factor. You may also want to get a Hair analysis done to know their strength. You are on right medications, just use them as directed by your Doctor and go for regular follow up. In addition to this, you should eating proper nutritious balanced diet like fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Eat chicken, Fish thrice weekly and eggs, milk daily. Which are protein rich foods which will increase your Hair strength and help them grow. Avoid stress and sleep adequately. Exercise regularly.

Wish you Good Health, Take Care.

Hi!,ayesha,
Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum,

In females the most common cause of hair loss is –iron deficiency, hormonal imbalance, thyroid problem, stress, lack of sleep, familial ,or use of chemical on scalp ,procedures like perming or straightening, any chronic illness etc. Other rare causes are zn & copper def.

One has to find the exact cause of hair loss and treat. In females there are various patterns of hair loss, which can be judged clinically by a dermatologist. As you have mentioned there are certain areas involved that would mean a hormonal patter of hair loss(if frontal area is involved). You should get your hormonal level checked along with an ultra sound if necessary to rule out PCOD.This usually seen in obese patient with irregular periods. Other simple test which we do are hair pull test and trichogram to diagnose which type of hair loss is there. After proper diagnosis you can start with the treatment. As you have already used topical preparations like Minoxidil with tab keraglow...its important to understand that how long you have used these. One has to use it for at-least 8-10 months to get good response .Other hormonal medicines are also available if needed in case one has hormonal im-balance .. We at our hospital use low level lasers(hair max) to stimulate hair follicle. We also give MESO THERAPY injections if needed.

Improve your diet with green leafy veg, fresh fruits, plenty of water, sprouts ,pulses, high protein diet, avoid items with high sugar content like sweets & chocolates, less of Chinese foods, less of pizza & burgers ,more of milk & ghee, dry fruits . Good sleep also has a important role to play .

I suppose you are not loosing hair in coin shaped patches ,if so kindly let me know.

regards,
Dr.chawda
