Muscular Pain, Body Pain, Weakness, Unable To Focus, Hot Flashes. What Medical Tests Are Prescribed?

I am 41 years old, weighing 77 kgs with height of 5 ft & 9 in. I am suffering from overal muscular & body pain for the last 13 years approx. Lots of medical tests along with medicinal treatment has been done but of no use. The pain is increasing day by day. The joints and the back pains are severely much much more than other body parts. I am not able to stand for more than two minutes continuously on both the legs. I need top do weight shifting from one leg to another. Apart from that, I always feel feverish with high weakness and not able to focus in any work properly. A lot of heat is dissipated from my palms & lower portion of feet. May you please suggest or advice to whom should I show up and what medical tests do you prescribe further..... Thanks, with warm regards .... Vipin

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi,
Seems you are suffering from multiple joint pain - Polyarthritis with early morning stiffness. Hot flushes, lack of energy might be due to peri-menopausal syndrome.

I would suggest you to get yourself examined by an Orthopaedician for multiple joint pains and also get opinion from your Gynaecologist for your perimenopausal syndrome. You would be asked to undergo few blood tests like Hb, RBS, TLC, DLC, ESR, RA factor, CRP and Thyroid profile along with routine urine examination. These investigations will help us find out the exact cause. Discuss with your doctor.

I do hope that you have found something helpful and informative and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care.
