Lump Under Breast Causing Pain, Sudden Popping, Sharp Pains Around Chest. Reason?
i found a lump under my left beast on my rib cage. there is internal and external pain involved. it comes and goes. it comes whenever it wants to. it doesn t seem like i can make it happen. Well more recently, i was just sitting, and i felt this POP in and around that area. it took my breath away, and there was instant pain...like someone was squeezing my insides under my breast . it is pretty constant. now i am experiencing very sharp pains around the left chest , left side ribs, and left back. And many spots were it is sore to the touch. including the area right between my breast..

What is your age??? Depending on the age there are various causes of such lump. Whatever it may be my advice would be that yyou consult your doctor right away as any lump in breast should not be ignored. Get a check up done and follow the advice of your doctor . For the sharp pain you can take simple pain killer or paracetamol if it is unbearable. Take care.

The pain which you are describing could be due to many factors. The most common is fibroadenosis, which occurs in middle aged women and is associated with lumps and pain in the breast, which is more before the menses. These lumps are usually not malignant and the pain gradually subsides.
If you have pain at other points as well, then it could be a condition known as fibromyalgia, which responds to medications.
I would advise that you visit a breast surgeon and a physician and let them evaluate you for these conditions.
