Urinary tract infections is one of the commonest causes from which the bacteria can ascend and affect the renal system causing a condition called as pyelonephritis. This canbe ruled out by getting the urine examination and ultrasound abdomen with pelvis.Since this requires medical supervision I suggest your to consult a physician/nephrologist for its management.Hope I have answered your question.
